When you partner with Cindy Dawn, you’ll follow a clear and efficient process that transforms your thoughts, knowledge, and stories into your written book.
Phase 1: Strategy Phase
Discover and define the heart of your book – its purpose, goals, message, topics, stories, lessons, and future impact. Together, you’ll devise a strategic book plan that sets the foundation for the next phases.
Phase 2: Interview Phase
Through intimate one-on-one interviews led by Cindy, you’ll dive deep into each topic, to uncover the rich content that becomes your book. This is where your wisdom is captured and your stories come alive.
Phase 3: Content Development Phase
Once Cindy gathers all the gold from your interviews, she’ll craft each chapter with your voice, message, care and precision. Once each chapter is drafted, she will send it to you for your review.
Phase 4: Review & Edit Phase
One by one, you’ll receive digital versions of each chapter to review and provide feedback. After your input, Cindy will meet with you via video call to discuss your honest thoughts, implement agreed changes, and then move confidently to the next chapter. This collaborative exchange continues for each chapter.
Phase 5: Final Review
After all chapters are revised and completed, Cindy conducts one final review of the entire manuscript. Then, she sends it to you for your final revisions and approval.
Phase 6: Off to the Publisher*
Once your manuscript is approved, Cindy transfers the copyright to you and emails your completed manuscript to you. Then, you send it to your chosen publisher to begin their process.
Phase 7: Marketing*
Here’s where you step into the spotlight to execute your own marketing plan. As the person who cares most about selling your book, you become the lead voice in promoting and selling your book. You can begin your marketing plan journey as early as you decide to write a book!
*Publishing and Marketing Phases are completed with Author-selected vendors and independent from Cindy. For authors who choose to work with Cindy, she’s happy to introduce her trusted network of publishing, marketing, and PR connections, though there’s never any obligation to use her recommendations.
